Twenty-two years ago, the need for good, qualified commercial contractors in this area was apparent. Larry and Peter had known each other professionally for some time, and realized that their skills and experience could be used to form a commercial construction company.

In June of 1984 they incorporated and opened their doors for business. It wasn’t long before they had developed a name for themselves and found a niche specializing in medical construction. Doing work for clients such as Lee Memorial and Southwest Regional, Compass became experts in this specialized construction area.

From there they branched out, and it wasn’t long before their list of clients included the likes of The Diocese of Venice, SunTrust Bank, Lee County, The City of Cape Coral, Gulf Coast Hospital, The City of Fort Myers, Florida Hospital, Florida Gulf Coast University, Edison College, and Moorings Park.

Planned growth, the addition of skilled management personnel, and our continued goal of being a quality commercial contractor has brought Compass Construction®, Inc. to where it is today.
