Midpoint and Cape Coral Toll Plaza Renovations, Fort Myers & Cape Coral, FL

Phase I of a 2-phase project, the Midpoint Toll Plaza one way conversion project for Lee County involves reconstruction of toll lanes to facilitate one way tolling and high speed lanes, partial removal of the existing tunnel, including electronic equipment, and partial demolition of the overhead canopy structure.

Phase 2 of this project, the Cape Coral Toll Plaza one way conversion, will involve complete demolition of the existing canopy, construction of a new canopy, reconstruction of all toll lanes to facilitate one way tolling and high speed lanes, new tunnel construction, including electronic equipment.

Work scheduled to start summer of 2010.
